My Ethical Commitment & Privacy Policy

As a Perinatal Counsellor and Coach, I follow a professional code of conduct that ensures the highest standards of care, inspires confidence, and protects the well-being of the parents I support.

1. Confidentiality & Trust

I treat everything, from your personal information to our conversations and correspondence, with absolute confidentiality.

  • Consent: I will always obtain your explicit consent before disclosing any information to third parties.

  • Safety Exceptions: If I have strong evidence that withholding information poses a danger to you or another person, I may be required to forego confidentiality to ensure safety.

  • Supervision: To maintain the quality of my work, I occasionally discuss case themes with a professional supervisor. During this process, your name and all identifying details are completely disguised to protect your anonymity.

2. Integrity, Honesty & Autonomy

I am committed to being truthful and transparent in every aspect of my practice.

  • Truthful Marketing: All my materials and advice are honest, decent, and compliant with the law. I do not make false claims about the results of the coaching or counselling process.

  • Client Benefit: I will not prolong our professional relationship if it becomes clear that you are no longer benefiting from it. In such cases, I will encourage you to terminate our agreement or transition to a different form of support.

  • Conflict of Interest: I actively avoid and will openly disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

3. Neuro-Affirming Care & Professionalism

I provide a space that respects your unique brain wiring and identity.

  • Neuro-Affirming Practice: I do not view ADHD or Autism as disorders to be "fixed." My practice is built on supporting your neurological needs through self-compassion, sensory regulation, and executive scaffolding.

  • Inclusive Support: I respect your rights and identity regardless of nationality, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status. I do not condone or participate in discriminatory practices.

  • Professional Standards: I maintain current professional indemnity insurance and work strictly within the limits of my competence.

4. Scope of Practice & Referrals

While I provide specialised perinatal counselling (B.Sc.) and trauma-informed support, I recognise when a different level of care is required.

  • Clinical Boundaries: If I identify that my services are not the right intervention for your current needs, such as in cases of severe clinical disorders or crisis, I will provide you with a referral to a psychiatrist or specialised clinical facility.

5. Clear Agreements

I believe that clarity reduces anxiety. Before we work together, we will sign an agreement that outlines our roles, rights, and responsibilities, including fees, session frequency, and your right to terminate the relationship at any point.

Data Privacy & GDPR Compliance (RGPD)

1. Data Collection and Usage In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I am the data controller for your personal information. When you sign up for my resources (like the Sensory Safety Map) or book a session, I collect your name and email address solely to deliver the service and communicate with you. I do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

2. Third-Party Processing Tools To provide a secure experience, I use the following GDPR-compliant platforms:

  • MailerLite: For the delivery of digital resources and newsletters.
