Some births call for a different kind of presence.
I offer a small number of birth doula packages each year — no more than two or three — for families in and around Málaga city and the surrounding pueblos within an hour of the city. This is intentional. When I take on a doula client, I am fully present with you from our first meeting through to after your baby is born. That level of commitment isn't something I can offer at scale, and I wouldn't want to try.
The women who seek me out tend to be expats, far from family, navigating a birth system that isn't their own. Many have had a previous experience that left something unresolved, a birth that didn't go as hoped, a pregnancy marked by anxiety, or simply the knowledge that they feel things deeply and need support that can hold that. They are not looking for someone to manage them. They are looking for someone to be genuinely with them.
That is what I offer.

The Birth Doula Support Package
What We Cover Together
Introductory Meeting — online, free
A relaxed conversation to get to know each other, talk through where you are in your pregnancy, and explore what you're hoping for. No commitment on either side — just a chance to see whether we're the right fit.
First Prenatal Meeting — in person
This is where we lay the foundations. We go through the physiology of birth, evidence-based information about your options, and begin building your birth preferences together. My approach prepares you for every version of your birth — including a home birth if that's what you're working towards, and a clear, considered plan for if and when you move to hospital. In the Spanish system, especially, knowing your options and how to navigate them makes an enormous difference. You will not be caught off guard.
Second Prenatal Meeting — in person
We move into the practical and embodied. Hands-on pain management techniques, labour positions, and breathing through intensity. We also revisit your birth plan and continue the mindset work — building confidence not in a single outcome, but in your own capacity to move through whatever unfolds.
Third Prenatal Meeting — in person
This one is often the most quietly significant. We turn toward what comes after the birth: the physiological and physical changes of the immediate postpartum period, and how to prepare for them honestly. Together we create a rest and recovery plan, and I offer prompts for you and your partner to explore before the birth — about what this transition means for your relationship, how to support each other, and what you'll each need in those early weeks.
WhatsApp Support — throughout
Between meetings and during your on-call period, you have direct access to me for any questions that arise. This isn't a messaging service, it's the thread that holds everything together between our time in person.
Birth Attendance
I join you when active labour begins and stay with you continuously through the birth and for up to two hours afterwards.
Postpartum Visit
One visit after the birth to check in, reflect on the experience, and make sure you feel held as you find your feet.
A Note on My Approach
I am not a home birth doula nor a clinical doula. I move through both worlds — I hold the knowledge, I understand the systems, and I have deep respect for every path a birth can take. But I am not an advocate for any particular kind of birth. I am an advocate for you.
Whatever you decide, whatever unfolds, your choices are honoured and respected without reservation. My role is to make sure you are informed, prepared, and never alone in the room — whatever room that turns out to be.
Pricing
First-time parents: €1,450
Second-time parents or returning clients: €1,250 (in-person meetings are reduced to 2 sessions)
Payment plans are available; please ask.
Travel within Málaga city and the surrounding area (up to 1 hour from the city) is included. Travel costs and parking outside this area are not included.
I accept very few doula clients each year. If you are considering this, I'd encourage you to get in touch early in your pregnancy, ideally before the third trimester, so we have time to meet unhurriedly and feel certain we're the right fit.
Get in Touch
If this feels like what you've been looking for, the next step is a free introductory conversation, no commitment, no pressure. Just a chance to talk.
Not sure a birth support doula is what you need right now?
That's completely alright. There's no single way to prepare for birth; doula services can come in many forms, and the right next step depends on where you are.
If you're carrying something you can't quite name — a previous birth that never settled, a sensitive nervous system, the loneliness of doing this far from home — you might start with my free Birth Preparation Roadmap. It's an 18-page resource to help you understand what kind of preparation you actually need, before you decide anything.
When you're ready for support alongside you, there are two paths:
Birth Planning
If you'd like to begin with something lighter, this focused session helps you build a birth plan that keeps your sensory and nervous-system needs at the centre and prepares you to navigate an unfamiliar healthcare system with confidence.
Birthing After Trauma: Coaching for Couples
If you're carrying a previous birth that still feels unresolved, or you want unhurried, trauma-informed preparation as a couple, this seven-session programme holds space for both of you.
My practice is built on specialist clinical training and lived experience. I hold a Bachelor's in Counselling (Academie voor Coaching en Counselling, Netherlands, 2024), a Doula Certification (BIA Doula Training, Amsterdam, 2018), and specialist certification as a 3 Steps Rewind Practitioner for birth trauma resolution (2022). I am additionally trained in Anxiety in the Perinatal Period (TBR College of Perinatal Emotional Health, 2021), Supporting Survivors in the Perinatal Period (Resilient Birth, 2021), and Supporting Neurodiverse Birth (Neurodivergent Birth UK, 2024).
I practise in accordance with my Ethical Commitment & Professional Standards, which cover confidentiality, consent, safeguarding, and ongoing supervision.
